An Intimate Black Barn Wedding

The Black Barn at Lake Tarawera is one of the most magical places to get married, the views are unbeatable in every direction!

Holly and Ben agreed and chose to have their summer wedding at this magical spot, although there were some difficulties with New Zealand battling covid lockdowns and traffic light systems meaning a lot of changes to their dream day, they managed to create something really special.

The groom had a haircut on the day, they both finished their speeches on the day, the two doggies even got to come along! Holly also wore a brooch that had been worn by every bride in the family for generations, so many special details.

We ended the evening with some photos at golden hour on the farm and in the pine trees (including a wee mishap for me... details below)
