A fairytale wedding giveaway

Covid had hit, the wedding industry was hurting and I wanted to do something positive to help.

I approached some of my favourite local vendors, The Black Barn Venue at Lake Tarawera and Terrace Catering, with an idea to create a huge wedding giveaway and "The Big Day Giveaway" evolved from that conversation.

We had over 700 couples enter in the hopes of winning the ultimate prize, there were so many incredible stories of love that it was almost impossible to choose the lucky winners, but we had to and Amie and Andrew came out on top with only 3 months to organise their dream day.

All of the main things were already sorted for them from generous vendors from throughout the Bay of Plenty - venue, catering, photographer, videographer, the dress, florist, celebrant and MC, live music, DJ, hair, makeup, cake, wedding planner, photo booth, furniture, tableware, linens, suit hire, various alcohols, beverage service, and even activities for after the day + much more!

But... Amie had a vision, and she (along with all the incredible vendors) came together to create a seriously magical fairytale day.
